Dr. Shawn weiss founder of Look Up Living
I am a 55 year old Mom, Wife, Daughter, and Friend! ! I am a country girl that was raised in a small town in rural Ohio as an only child....( yes, I know...what a spoiled brat! ) My parents instilled in me a strong work ethic from a early age! I spent my school years active in sports and band ( I was a band geek drummer!) I continued to play volleyball and pitched fast pitch softball, both at the D3 college level. Best times of my life! It was during this time that I felt drawn to healthcare and physical therapy, as I spent so much time in physical therapy torture following three knee surgeries by age 24! After obtaining my B.S. in Education , I pursued a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, followed by a Doctorate Degree 12 years later in 2010.
Fast forward: Now, definitely getting older, kids are grown, have a new knee, my sports are now golf and pickleball ....AND 27 years in healthcare (20 as a business owner) HOLY COW! I am blessed and grateful to have the experiences and to have been a part of so many successful patient stories!
Starting a Speaking and Health Coaching platform has been a goal of mine for a very long time. I am so excited to connect with clients on personal level, help them to get to the root causes of their issues, and assist them in developing the right program to optimize their health.
