Functional Wellness Coaching is a process in which a health coach helps individuals identify and achieve their personal goals.  My Functional Wellness Coaching is based on a holistic functional medicine approach to care. Our current insurance based health system is limiting and not always the most effective as it primarily focuses on disease and symptom treatment based on diagnosis codes only! That is a Pill for an Ill approach to care.  Functional Medicine Care adds an important system by digging deeper into the WHY!! Why are your symptoms occurring? This is an Upstream approach to health versus a Downstream approach! Digging deeper into the root causes of symptoms allows us to identify and correct for the long term  versus putting bandaids on problems. This involves a Care Throughout Approach that guides you through the entire spectrum and makes adjustments as you see improvements!


Functional Wellness coaching can help individuals improve their self-awareness, develop new skills, create a plan for achieving their goals, and overcome obstacles that may be holding them back from success. My coaching programs address all critical Pillars of Health including Stress Management, Restoring Sleep, Gut Microbiome Health, Physical Activity, Nutrition, and Emotional Well Being. 


My Wellness  Coaching sessions can vary in length, but typically last between 45 minutes to an hour. The frequency of sessions can also vary depending on the needs of the client.
